as seen on my gallery page [art of yoozhu], I have long since completed my art piece [hexed vexation], but have been having technical difficulties with iMovie on actually uploading videos. Even shorter speed paints I can't seem to manage to upload, which is, admittedly, starting to irritate me. Oh well. But I would still like to find a workaround to get those videos uploaded. We'll see...
Video attached to this post is a quick quickflipthru of this one sketchbook journal I got somewhat recently from a trip to Barnes&Noble. Kind of a notebook with blank pages. The paper was too thin and smooth and too smallscale to do finished pencil sketches in it, but I decided to use it to jot down thumbnails. I draw thumbnails as a way to "blueprint" what a final artwork could potentially look like. I'm tempted to make a video on this book cuz I've been liking how my thumbnail doodles look like.
I like uploading to my YouTube channel and my SNS since it gives me a chance to record my endeavours somewhere - for memories. Even if they get barely any views, I want to have places to place speedpaints of artworks I've created that I like, or maybe someday vlogs.
I also went to the art store Blick Art Materials, and got two whole new sketchbooks, and I have been doodling like crazy in one of them. I've been going all ham on creating character designs, and I'm actually proud of how some of these Dybbukverse characters look design-wise. I feel as if I'm on a roll with character design - I ain't complaining. I would love to post many of them as of 30 April 2019, but I'm proud of them to the point I find it risky to post the designs everywhere cuz y'know: art and character thieves... womp womp... But I am happy with my character designing skills as of late...
I would like to keep posting bloggy posts like this with occasional pics like this even if they're never truly seen by the public, since I need somewhere to write my stuffs, since I'm not exactly a diarist as of late (writing in a physical journal, the gist of my Life)...
